March for Marley sponsored walk

Marley Inácio is a happy, smiley little boy who lives in the Algarve and turns 7 this month.  He loves football, Mario super brothers and the colour green.  His mum Kate taught with us 3 years ago and we have stayed in regular contact since then.  Marley was born with various medical problems including muscular dystrophy and a congenital bone condition.  He has a global delay which affects many things in his body such as his speech, hearing and understanding.  Despite this, he is a super hero!  Last year we held our first March for Marley and raised €4000 which went towards the cost of a new electric wheelchair which Marley loves and calls his "sonic chair".  Marley now needs a series of operations which will make his life considerably more comfortable than it is at the moment.  The cost of these operations is in excess of €80,000 so we have organised our second March for Marley which will take place on Friday 19th October.  Kate has also set up a Just Giving page through which donations can be made.   The meeting point on 19th October is Ponta da Piedade at 10am and the walk, which is approximately 10km, will take us to the beach in Praia da Luz.
Everyone is welcome to come along so spread the word and we hope to see you there.  For sponsor forms and posters please contact us by phone or email.
